Almonds Galore!

Almonds are super yummy and can often times ward off even the most strict case of the flu. I have been making lots of almond milk lately and thought I would share my recipe! Simply soak 1 cup of raw almonds in a cup of water for 6-8 hours. I usually soak them overnight and then make the milk for breakfast. Toss the soaked almonds, along with the leftover water into a blender and add two more cups of water. Blend it up and then strain the pulp with a strainer or cheese cloth. Oila! You now have almond milk. Bonus: save the pulp and freeze it. Use it to make cookies or granola bars. More recipes to come!
